This is the Blizzard CX1 at the top of its range: the motor-driven SEB 228 electrobrush for carpet, the SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister for hardwood, the STB 101 mini turbobrush for stairs and furniture, plus upholstery and crevice nozzles, all hung on a 1200-watt bagless canister with Vortex separation, a HEPA lifetime filter, handle-mounted suction controls and a 32-foot reach. Miele lists it at 19 pounds with a 2-liter dust container. A canister with an electrobrush is the stand mixer of the kitchen: heavy, stays where it is put, and does the hard work while you steer.

- You would rather have this same powerhead package with a bag. The Classic C1 Cat & Dog ships with the SEB 228, the SBB 300-3 and the STB 101 on a bagged body.
- Weight matters more than carpet performance. At 19 pounds plus an electrobrush this is a lot to carry between floors; the Boost CX1 Cat & Dog is lighter and smaller, with an air-driven brush.

It ships free within the contiguous United States, well past our $75 free-shipping threshold, and most orders are on the truck in 2 to 3 business days. Factory-sealed, unused machines may be returned within 30 days at the buyer's expense for return shipping. A machine that has been run is covered by Miele's warranty instead, and we handle the claim alongside you.

Is the SEB 228 a true electric powerhead?
Yes. It has its own motor turning the brush roll and receives power through the electrified hose and wand. It is the same electrobrush Miele fits to the Classic C1 Cat & Dog.
What does ComfortClean do?
Miele lists ComfortClean automatic filter cleaning on this model: the machine cleans its fine-dust filter itself rather than leaving the job to you. The HEPA lifetime exhaust filter is separate and is not on a replacement schedule.
How big is the dust container?
Two liters, per Miele, which is a little more than two quarts. Emptying it outdoors is a good habit in a pet house.
Which tool goes on the stairs?
The STB 101 mini turbobrush, on the hose without the wand. It fits on a tread, it is light, and it lifts hair out of stair carpet better than the big head ever could at that angle.
